Wanstalls Exclusive: 12" Tombstone SxS Shotgun

Talk to Gary, i did, he may have some done for us, i am keeping my teflon one until i get news from Gary, i am not worry with it... JP.

If he does that would be cool, otherwise I will try putting the hiviz on a brass pedestal with a longer screw.

My suggestion to Gary was a brass post of .425 in height, with the same original tread with a stopper, the .425 would be above the stopper and it would be a simple brass post, thus the ability of filing a little bit of or not off, to make it 6 inch high at 25 yards that would put it right on at 50 yards, those are the measurements of my teflon one and it it ideal this way... JP.

That would be a simple good fix, but at almost a half Inch tall I'm not sure it would be robust enough for hard use.
I would like to see a blade type with rounded corners attached by a steel screw for strength.

I suggested brass but steel would be stronger, i agree... JP.

What about a Big Dot over your bead, wouldn't that be tall enough? Any that would fit on those SXS?
It doesn't sound like even a big bead or dot over the existing bead would lower the POI as it is hitting 48" high at 25 yards.

My Outlaw shot around 11" high so a Truglo magnetic rail mount corrected it but these beauties will need really high front beads, pipes or posts.

Man I would not be happy if I dropped that much money on a shotgun and it shot 4 feet high at close range... Glad I restrained myself cause I really wanted one.

I'm left wondering, will such a high front sight post be prone to snagging if carried in a scabbard like the voodoo tactical model for example?

A raised base with a common thread pattern hole to accept common shotgun beads would be the best.

I wonder what they guys at the Factory thought about it as they boxed them up after test firing?

Same here, this is unacceptable.
Uh yeah, If I'd bought one I'd send it back. ... wait for the factory to fix it. My shorty chinese "pos" for $150 (used) at least hits POI at 25 yards, with both barrels. However, with some practice we've been able to hit 80% of clays from the hip, so maybe you don't need a sight at all. ???
IMO, this sight issue is a big disappointment.
