What do you guys do when you End up with a lot of assorted stuff that you'll never use in the reloading room.
I've got a couple of lee pro 1000's with all the parts mixed to gather. They booth work, but are missing the case tubes for one and the dispenser chain for the other.
I've got a few bullet moulds and lots of wheel weights, 20 sets of dies I don't have guns for and a couple banana boxes of brass for guns I don't have as well.

As well, because of the demands of raising a family and working on the patch in Alberta, I probably won't have the time to load much. And worse, I've kinda lost interest. 5-10 years ago, I worked on service rigs and had a fluid schedule. Basically, we'd work until we couldn't get services out to finish a job and take a day or two off. Generally, spring was slower and I'd get a couple weeks off. At the time, the shooting sports were a good fit, grab a range bag and your range keys after work, and go shooting. M

Now, I haul fluid. The trucks work 15 hours a day and there is no time for anything not essential. Eventually that'll change, but I find myself a lot more likely to grab my guitar and a cup of coffee, where I'm still around my kids vs going to the range. I'm hoping to have more time at some point, but am dubious as to whether that is possible or not in the oilfield. It doesn't seem to matter if you need the money, if you want to work, you have to be availible a lot.

I've gotten rid of a lot of stuff already, but am not into trying to sell another hundred items on the EE, since I haven't got the time. Any suggestions?

Bulk sale on the EE?

Don't know about the area you live in, so I don't know if advertising a bulk sale of gun related products via Kijiji or a garage sale sign would bring the wrong kind of attention from the wrong kind of people on you...

Might try a bulk sale on that local on-line "Info Mall"......if you haven't already. Seems stuff moves pretty good on there sometime....

Never sell anything.

The minute you sell it you'll probably need it.

I have a bunch of pistol powders and primers but no pistols.
Dies for rifles I don't have anymore.

The 'A' in your PAL is for Acquisition. You can NEVER sell ANY shooting related items, as this is not a vending license. The trick is to get your wife to believe this.

Time has a way of changing everything, including how much you work. If you have a place to store it, that'd be best. It's not going to go bad and if, well when, your time comes back, replacing it all will cost a fortune.

That's what has me worried. I used to have my reloading stuff all set up in my garage and mostly organized, so when Id load it was only a matter of grabbing the appropriate powder and an mtm case of brass off the shelf and Id be happily charging cases and then off the the range an hour later. We've moved since and I can't seemingly get enough time to organize things.

I'll buy it, but I can only offer you a song and dance.... actually I'm in a similar boat to you, but I've decided to sell off stuff I'm not interested in and keep what interests me, even if I can't use it that much right now
