Search function didn't seem to help. Did the price of these scope go up by around 50% recently? 4400 now from 3200 or something? Any reason why? Thanks in advance, I am out of the loop sometimes.

The Euro is pretty strong compared to the dollar, that probably played a part. Many companies raise their prices on a fixed date yearly, though it's usually only a few percent.
 
from what i recall reading, prices went up as the company that was providing the glass coatings price went up, and we as the consumer end up paying for it..

dont quote me on that as i said its just what i recall reading, is also doesnt help our dollar isnt doing so hot as Bear said.

quite frankly, it wont stop me from buying another in the future
 
Yeah, it sucked when I saw that.

I contacted Wolverine a couple times about a particular model. I waited a couple months....I was excited, I was finally going to have a S & B....then BAM! $1000 more. :(

So I went with Leopold Mark 6
 
Even at 1000.00 more, i will still buy a S&B, when you are use to them, nothing else will do the same ( clarity is addictive), maybe close but not the same, on the verge of ordering a shorty ( 5X20 H59) for my SA NM M1A.... JP.
