Identify that Rifle

A Buddy bought this rifle as part of an estate sale and I'm trying to help him Identify he model, make year and caliber.
You guess might be better then mine as I have no idea.....maybe a 7.62x 54 or 57?

Vz. 52 in 7.62x45. You are missing a magazine, mind you. Someone took off the bayonet.
