Does any one know the thread pattern? I hear it's different than a regular AR. Possible to put a Lantac or battle comp on a Swiss arms? Thanks in advance specifically the CQB

Depends on the model. With the exception of the CQB , the flashiders are machined out of the ends of the barrels (one piece).

Thanks I appreciate the reply, but that also means can't put any other type of muzzle device on it. Was hoping to mount a battlecomp or lantac dragon

Would it matter that the brake is for a 7.62x39? I'm not sure of how the dimensions work for muzzle brakes? Does this mean an AK brake would work? Thanks

I bought a PWS fsc-47 as I hear it's a really effective loudener. Haven't had time to install it yet and am kind of scared of marring the cqb's flash suppressor. Anyone taken one off without damage? Tips/tricks?

Nice, I'll check that out. I talked to one guy and he put on a different flash hider but he took it to a gun smith and the stock flash suppressor was ok, do you know if a battlecomp for a 7.62 would work for a .223 barrel? It's the same thread 14x1mm LH

Cut a few layers of hockey tape to line the "jaws" of your wrench. This should protect the finish.

if by 7.62 you mean 7.62x51/308, then no. Typically, US and Canadian-made devices for 308 barrels are 5/8-24 threading, so it will be incompatible with the 14x1 reported for the CQB. If the device was made for a VZ 58 or AK, the threads should be the same.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. Ya I realize it does have to be for a vz or AK, it just seems like such a pain in the @ss so I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.
