A short while ago I had a Winchester Model 67 .22 given to me and I was told that it might need a part as the lady's now deceased husband had taken it apart before his passing and he had never got it back together due to losing a part. I received the rifle with a small bag of bolt parts taped to it and all in all for the age of the rifle it wasn't in too bad of shape and with a little work I thought I could get it looking better and functioning. So I get to researching and find the bolt is missing two pins, a safety lock friction spring and a firing pin head spring. So off I go looking for parts, Marstar's (nope), Western gun parts (nope), Numrich's (nope), a gunsmith shop in Saskatoon (never even got a reply). I just can't believe that there wouldn't be any parts anywhere out there as I thought these were a common type of rifle. I guess I should of known better...just my luck! I think they were a good shooting rifle in there day, hopefully one day I can try it out.

Thanks for the reply folks. I am thinking I will try to get a rough shape one at an auction or something for the parts that I need. I am kind of a patient person when it comes to things so no use getting impatient now...kind of like my 1973 centennial quarter collection where I've been collecting over 30 years and still waiting for something special to come along in circulation! Take care and happy shooting.

There is an old guy in Alberta someplace that probbably has parts for it. He's got a lot of different things. Just trying to figure out how I can get his name from people who know him. He's always got a table at the Calgary gun show in the spring.
