I'm 99% in, just gotta verify that I can make the proper travel arrangements (got a wedding to attend abroad the following weekend). Last time, the match was LOTS of fun due to the great facilities and most importantly due to the HARD work put in by all the volunteers. If you're on the fence, you better reserve a spot now b/c I don't think they'll last long :)

Those bastages at Galt always schedule their matches for days that I gotta be a work.... It's a conspiracy.
'Will be shooting the Blueridge Mt. 3G the following week so... I can't be all teary eyed I guess

That one, I would not have been able to attend.. My little cousin flew all the way from Europe to South America to attend my wedding, so the least I can do is swing by and attend hers. For now I'll focus on sorting out the warranty issue with my M21 so I don't have to run the TRS-25 if I don't have to.

Please forward your schedule so that we can plan our February 2gun match accordingly. ;)

In all seriousness, we have such limited spots they all went in less than an hour after the email went out. There is a pent up demand for 3gun in SW Ontario for sure.

In order to encourage others to step up, anyone who hosts a multigun event in SW Ontario in the next 12 months, let me know and I will make sure you and your crew will get a squad time at future G3G match of your choosing. If you're thinking you'd like to put a match on at your range but aren't sure where to start, send me a pm and I'd be happy to help you out in any way that I can. I'm no expert but I'd love to see more multigun opportunities in this area.

Class act, all the way! Thanks for going the extra mile for the sport :)

A friend and I are reviving a once vibrant range with IPSC and 3 gun as well. Stay tuned.

Good thing I replied fast to that email. I am in and my AR is sighted. Lmao.

My main sight will most likely be going in for warranty, but I got a spare TRS-25 to tide me over and might even work better with the magnifier

Ears... Burning

This is great news. We have no shortage of shooters but there seems to be paucity of those willing to put on matches. It isn't as hard as most people think. A little more than a year ago I thought, "my club won't like this, I don't have any experience in running a match, I've never designed a stage before, etc." but since then we've hosted 4 multigun matches and with each one we learn more and improve. I'd love to see a day where the matches at my club DON'T sell out in an hour because there are lots of other matches to choose from. Or even better, a time when several clubs can put our heads together and create a SW Ontario 3gun Series with 3 or 4 events, all at different clubs.

I just got word that we have some cool swag donated courtesy of Rabe Pellet Pins, Colt Canada, and Select Shooting Supplies!
Final match details including round counts, invites for those needing one, etc. will be e-mailed out shortly.

Just a heads up for everyone savy enough to check in for some last minute tips!

1) no limits on shotgun mag capacity...if your pump holds a gajillion rounds, so be it, it won't impact your division.
2) may want to practice your grenade toss for tomorrow

Weather looks awesome for tomorrow. Get some rest and if you're looking for times to beat, here are the scores from today's volunteers' match :D
