Fancy ambi AR-15 receivers...which offer more controls, which are more useful and ergonomic?

Meaning, those two offer ambi mag releases, and ambi bolt hold open releases (actually not sure if the Sig has a hold open release on righthand side...does it? The KAC SR-15 does)

Knights KAC does and so does the Sig Saur.... but what about others?

Also, while I know about the MAD lever, I'm uncertain about the ambi mag releases... the C7a2 Norgen type, I heard discontinued, is that correct?
 
The KAC has the best done full ambi setup. I like the way the ambi features match the original. IE bolt release paddles match and ambi mag release doesn't look like an add on or afterthought. The SIG offers an ambi mag release but not bolt release. The AX556 is another full ambi lower. It's in the same style as the ATR and HERA HLS. These last three are fairly closely based of the Magpul ambi lower design which didn't go into full production. Again, I think the KAC is the best done. I like the HERA for my ADCOR rifles though and the price at the time was right.

I have a couple HERA HLS full ambi lowers. Same ambi features as the ATR. This is with an ADCOR upper.

I like the KAC except for cost and the roll mark is a bit lame.

As we're talking about ambi, I should mention that the ADCOR upper with my HERA HLS is full ambi and then some. The upper has a non reciprocating FN style charging handle. Great for locking open the bolt with the weak side hand only. Plus in prone or with larger optics setups. I also added the Rapter charging handle which is pretty much a must have upgrade for an AR. They are awesome. It's a fairly slick very uncommon mix. I know a few that have used KAC lowers with ADCOR uppers and LMT mrp uppers for their ultimate AR projects.

My POF P308 is great, full ambi except charging handle. It's got a nice bolt catch button in top of the trigger guard that I really like. I'll post pics when I get home.

To date I haven't seen another manufacturer come out with a piece of kit like the ADCOR B.E.A.R Elite - there are many features on it that sets it apart. Should have bought the 18 or 20'' upper as well when SGW brought them in back then.

Yohann160 - nice collection you've got going. Do you know when you SSG will finally be coming in?

What's the point of an ambi lower without an ambi upper? The ADCOR is the only real ambi upper I've ever seen. The side non reciprocating charging handle can be switched to either side. Plus it still retains the regular charging handle. Put in a Rapter and you're set.

Yep, complete gen4 rifle, 16.5" barrel and NP3 coated. I bought mine from IRG. Pics of the lower below...
