Talk about Ruger stocks plz

Hello guys, im having hard troubles with this Stock game.

You see I own a Ruger Hawkeye in Long Action, Woodstock.

What I want to do is buy a Ruger Synthetic stock to suit...

What im having trouble finding is a Stock for the Hawkeye, Brownells and "Champion/Ramline" indicate the mkii Stocks will not fit the Hawkeyes.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

I cant stand ramline stocks... probably for the best....

Not sure if midway will ship your way.... I looked in the ee for you and there isnt anything in there that meets your needs right now.... will keep an eye out and let you know.... if one comes up and you want it k can act as middle man for you. ...
 
Did you get in touch with medvedqc? I'm pretty sure he has a couple OEM synthetic long action stocks... and the Ruger synthetics are light and pretty solid...

Common theme in regards to the Ramlines lol.

Well I would very much appreciate your help in keeping an eye on the EE (I don't meet guidelines to get access) and if one happens to pop up Im sure we could come to some arrangement and go from there!

I actually stuffed up an the email went to Midway, although Brownells were the place I should of emailed, done now so will await reply- although both locations seem to be 'out of stock' on the synthetics.

Not sure if Ruger has any sort of shops similar to a Remington store?

Hoyt, I shot a PM hes way but it has been unreturned so far, he could be away or just hasn't been online lately!

Hopefully once he jumps on he may see a thread or the PM !


Im still trying to figure out what doesn't fit in regards to the MKii and Hawkeye models? I shot an email back to Ramline askin for an explination on why exactly it wont fit.

the only bonus to Ramline is they RRP for $145 down here

OEM, is that a standard type of stock for the rugers? these other stores Advertise them as "stock assembly" type things.. ahhhdunno

Now that I think of it I am pretty sure the ruger site does have a parts section... you may be kn to something....

Like hoyt said, contact medvedqc..... also, prophet river may be able to help you
