Gunsmith Recommendations

Can anybody recommend me a good gunsmith to work on a pistol? I have a CZ-75B that I'd like to slick up and install better sights on. I don't really know who to contact for this kind of work and I'm guessing somebody on here can point me in the right direction based on personal experiences. Any help (and reviews I guess) would be appreciated.

Try omega custom guns, or sc gun works, both in ontario. Have no experience with either. Fella at the range let me shoot his 6g Svi that was worked on by omega, he highly recommended him. Sc, all I heard is his work can be hit or miss.

North of GTA. But I'll mail a gun across the country, I've sent revolver to BC for work in the past on recommendation and was very satisfied. I'm not pressed for a timeframe to have the gun back.

Check out Casey at Tac Ord. He worked on my CZ SP01 and he did a fantastic job. Also a very nice man to just sit and talk with.

What about bumblebee custom from out west?

I've had excellent work done on 3 different guns by Clarence, and he'll be getting more from me. But with the OP living in Ontario, Tac-Ord might be a more practical choice.

I sent a 1911 to Clarence for some parts fitting and cutting dovetails for some sights, and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. Also had Frank at Cerakote BC Cerakote it for me in FDE, also excellent work.

I was told 3 weeks when I shipped to him. That was in May. No answer to my phone calls. A month and no answer to my emails. Finally when I got a response it was like nothing was wrong but was given the run around. I gave him a few weeks and sent off another email. Again no response. More phone calls and emails go un answered. I finally contacted Clarence and he informs me that he just delivered the part to Gunnar. To make a long story short. I finally put a post up about my experience with Armco on CGN and a fellow Nutter that lives close to Armco said he would stop by his shop and see what was up. The next day this Nutter has my part and has it being shipped to me. And still no response from Gunnar. Just sad that it gets to this. Horrible customer service. I will never deal with him again or recommend him.
