Glocks and practice.....

I'm gonna call a big serious bull#### to the palm size group at 50 metres. I'm betting only about 100 people in the whole freakin world can do that consistently.

Off the top of my head I personally know about 8 or 10 guys who can do that.

I admit I hang around people who are much better shooters than 99% of gun owners but I don't hang around 10% of the best people in the world.

Dont have much experience with a handgun, still i will offhand put all my rounds at 100 yards in a sheet of paper 16X24... This one is with my 629 4.2 inch and Leupold Delta point 7.5 MOA... JP.

And that proves what?

Did you miss the part about about no sights on the gun and a novice shooter out for the third time ever? The point is that making hits at 50 isn't overly difficult. A tight 4-6" group takes skill but is very doable. Pistols and pistol calibres are not the issue. The coarse sights and the shooter are what make it difficult.

OK so a palm size group is maybe 4". I don't think many on here can print a 4" group off a ransom rest at 50 metres.

I know a number of people who frequent these forums who can do it easily but I doubt they would appreciate having their names posted, so I guess it will have to remain unproved.

FWIW: The circle in the image above rests in the A-zone of an IPSC Classic target. The A-zone measures 5-7/8ths inches wide and the circle is a little smaller than my palm, which is 3-1/2 inches wide. The group therein measures a little over 2 inches at the widest part and it was shot at 42 meters off-hand, while testing a new bullet. It's actually not that hard to do once you know how: Ive had people I've coached shoot 4" groups at 20 meters with their sights taped off so they can't be used. I had a guy shoot a group like that this weekend at 12 meters with eyes closed.

All you have to do is hold the gun still while you pull the trigger. Wobble zone for the average person is well under 2 inches. Everything else comes from triggering errors and/or wrist deflection.

Also, some guns do not fair that well in a Ransom rest due to the flex inherent in polymer grips. Competent shooters can often do as well or better off-hand or prone depending on caffeine intake of course ;-)

Bull#### Prove it
\

What do you want me to do, go photograph the targets of a bunch of high level competitors and switched-on le and military to prove what you can go watch videos of with ten seconds of effort on Google? I've been here a long time and lots of people know who I am. I don't need to bull#### some anonymous nobody on an internet forum about a feat that's been performed thousands upon thousands of times.

Hundred people in the world...Jesus. Hang around a better class of shooters.

Think what you like. If you changed the stock trigger to achieve that its you that sucks, you're fooling only the foolish who don't know any better.

+1 to this. Many shooters could achieve that with a stock Glock.

Yes because Avid IPSC shooter, Small Arms Coach. Yeah I don't know nothing except what makes you TDC so much of a expert to constantly #### on other members? Yet provide nothing but belittling to others.

I don't SH!t on people, I SH!t on their lies and gimmicks like trying to buy skill with bolt on bs. A stock pistol is very capable of what you posted, if you can't do it, practice more and/or seek training. That is all..

Your delivery kills your content, and to top it off you are simply wrong. Give a good shooter a better gun and they will shoot better. Building a better gun is not a gimmick. Believing that you have shot better as a marksman because you have shot with a better gun is pretty stupid; I think that this is your only valid point - and it's a good one! But your nausiating delivery and pedantic gospel is beyond wearing thin. Many of us have training and compete at a decent level and the sun doesn't shine out of our arses as it suposedly does yours.

Relax. Enjoy shooting cause you know that you're a self professed great shot and for the love of god refrain from throwing your weight around like a school yard bully on these threads. Just because you think that know the truth doesn't give you license to act like you actually do.

Grow up.

Please take a look at this target. Count the destinct, identifiable bullet holes around the periphery of the gaping void and tell me that there were 20 rounds placed on this target. Not a chance, that huge void would represent about 6 to 8 shots. Sorry, that ain't reality, this target has seen way more than twenty rounds.
