Sphynx or Boberg....

Good day Gary and Dan, not long ago you had the Sphynx 9mm in stock, do you expect more very soon, i did miss out on this one, i was torn between a Boberg or a Sphynx, i'de hate to buy a Boberg and see the week after some Sphynx in stock... Anything you could confirm... JP.

i've read a bit on the 3000 40 S&W version. raving reviews only. fit, finish, accuracy...seems like it will feed with anything. a tester stated some 1 inch groups with cor-bon jacketed 150grs at 25 yards rested. most ammo will gets you 2.5-3 inches groups at 25 yards. while it's a CZ clone, reviews unanimously point out at a much more better fit and finish.

No offense to wan stalls as I have done numerous purchases from them but other sponsors have the Sphinx in stock

Thanks, i have locate some Sphynx at other dealers and if there is no more coming, i will advise in due time, but at this time, i am still unsure wich one i will get, the Boberg look like a little gem to... JP.

They are different i admit, but on the budget only one will make the cut, let not forget that the Coonan are coming in October, that will take some space on my handguns budget... So many nice ones to get... JP.

If you want a shooter...Sphinx all the way.
I love my Boberg but it rarely leaves the safe and when it does...im lucky to hit the paper.

Is it accurate, how is the trigger, is this pistol hard to shoot... JP.

Hey JP, No sphynx in the foreseeable future unfortunately, we'll see the Coonan before another Sphynx im thinking...

The Sphynx should be the one, things should be moving in 3 weeks, a month, the Sphynx weight 27 ounces... JP.

I did a review on CGN one time on the Boberg, although I need to replace all of the pictures (deleted on a web hosting error). I would not call it a "go plinking shooter" because it is a very small handgun (pinkie drops below magazine), it does not work with uncrimped bullets and of course everyone wants to see it! You get a lot of attention now that the word is out on them. I bought mine for the innovation of the design.

I have no problem shooting the Boberg and have gotten under two inch groups standing at 15feet easy: in the review I was not used to it yet and had some operator error with first and last shots (not used to a DAO trigger and the difference in last round ejection). Most of my free standing un-rested groups are about 1.5 inches at 15 feet now.

I think both the Boberg and Sphinx are good pistols, but really in the same category as I see it.
