Just wondering if any folks out there have used the Sig P226 MK25? Not sure if the extra features (and $300) is worth the upgrade from the standard P226?

Any advice would be great!

You get an extra mag too, night sites, and not the E2 grips if that means something to you.

I hate the E2 grips and that's pretty much all you can get now.

it comes with an extra mag, coated internals and night sites so that covers SOME of the extra cost. It is a fine pistol and i was ok with the extra cost

You get mecgar magazines (3 of them at that), night sights, a short extractor, coated internals and perhaps a higher resale value. Plus it looks cool.

Well if ya shot a stock 226 before, the MK25 is gonna feel the same. If you get one, pickup an SRT upgrade kit. :)

I really like the SRT, but my 226 refurb has the most crisp trigger break I have ever seen on a handgun, and it has been commented on by others as well. The SRTs I have seen aren't as near as crisp although they were probably on par or better than most. I would hate to lose this as a glass rod would be hard pressed to break better.

I love the look of the picatinny rail on the Mk 25, but I don't find that would be worth the extra money seeing as my guns will never see an ocean. I wish all gun companies would just make their guns with the only proper rail system on them standard. Step it up Sig! HK does it for heaven's sake!

Had it, sold it.

Stayed with just my plain P226.

Tried a buddies M11 A1...got all the bells and whistles.

Going to order that.

So a regular trigger that was just well broken in then?
