Just listed to a Canadian Tire ad on the radio. SKS for $150 at the Huntsville location.
I dont really need another but then again for that price i cant say no either.
 
Sounds like a good price to get one that you intend to tear apart and put into a synthetic stock. It's probably a rough looking batch for that price. Just watch Canadian tire, they might take the bayonet off or remove the cleaning kit. Not that this matters if you want to build a cheapie tactical sks.
 
If you want a nice one, Corwin arms has some nicer refurbs for $199. He picks out nice ones with good bores that are more likely to be accurate, and they don't have any ugly barbecue paint on the bolts. And he's a really nice guy to deal with. Also he still has a nicer all matching serial numbers one that he's asking 275 for.

This is the place to go if you want a nice SKS SVT or Mosin.

SKSs are at a few CT stores in southern Ontario - not quick movers though by the looks of it. Almost all the Mosin Nagants moved out pretty quickly ( I helped) but the SKSs and SVTs look like shelf queens to me.
