Question for C-MORE optics users

Hey - I import and sell 'em and I also say no.
They are great for their original purpose; mounting on AR Carbines that are roughly handled in the trunks of squad cars.

Yes and No,
Probably this is my 4th cmore( plastic) in the the last 10 yrs , and all of them will lost its zero after 500rnds, my latest is worst, only 200 rnds either the windage or elevation will shift. Contacted Cmore about it, they recommend to have it ship to them for check up, unfortunately I have no back up, so will wait until the match schedule will cool down.
According to one of the Cmore reps and a lot of guys down south suggested to have my platic Cmore Rebuilt with the Aluminum Body to eliminate the same problem. Unfortunately we dont have a choice, CMore is still best REDDot for pistol action type shooting.

losing zero? never even thought of that one. I really like the idea of the aluminum one but I really dont like the idea of spending 50% more on the al one.

I plan on using it on a rifle, not a pistol so I am thinking it won't get abused quite as much. a lot more mass under it to soak up that energy. (or so I think)

Its the windage and elevation locking screws that will screw you, remember its threaded to plastic, i can see every few hindred rounds both elevation/ windage are not on the original positions.

If you want zeros to stay and the dot to stay on go Aluminum, I have 2, best insurance you can have.

Plastic always split at the screw locking the horz adjust even with a strengthening plate over it.
