I still like and use the OLD Weaver style rings. You know the kind. They just kinda hook on one side of the scope + there's a couple of screws on the other side to tighten them down. I have other types of rings as well, but , I just like that style + still use them on several of my rifles. I usually match them up with an older optic.
My .308 deer gun carries weaver mounts , and a Redfield 2 +3/4 power, Denver Colorado scope.
The old scope has the command post type reticle , and offers up quick target acquisition in the hardwoods at first + last light. Any other fans of the old weaver style rings out there? Or , am I a dinosaur ?
