.22 ammo!!

Finding a box of dynapoint's at Walmart tonight was good enough for me. Even though I only have about 2,000 rounds total I'm feeling ok.

Not that it matters, but it still works out to far less than the $65 plus tax you say you are paying. Also, I just bought some dynapoints for $26 a brick at WalMart for a friend of mine, so there goes your next comment, too. Sure, it's not 22-25, but really? So close. Sorry about the ammo tax you pay living in Alberta, glad I moved away from there long ago.

Try buying dynapoint for $26 here in Alberta!!!!!!
Walmart and CT brand ammo = costs more now.

Look for yourself online at Cabelas and CT ammo prices for M22 and dynapoint
 
Winchester Dynapoint 500-round @CT $39.99
M22 1000-round @CT $64.99

I could walk over to a CT that has 2 boxes of Dynapoints but I have only shot CCI and never cheaper bulk ammo. Dynapoints do get good reviews so I may get some.

Guess I shoulda bought all they had at lethbridge walmart this evening then. .... dynapoint's 500 Rd for $27 after taxes

Gone are the days of $20-$25 a brick for bulk. Govt added a new tax, shipping costs have gone up and so on.
The new norm is $40+
Maybe I am hording and so are others. However I saved $232. Which is more important, saving money and having a supply or paying a silly amount just to have a brick? Most store have a limit on how much you can buy anyway.

I found a box of .22 at CT today when I went to pick up my trigger locks. Winchester 222 box, for $13. Not the worst I have ever paid. They seemed to have an awful lot of .17 in stock.

Have they gone down from the 333rd package to a now 222rd box? Yikes!... I hope this is a typo!
 
Well I did end up buying 2 boxes of Winchester Dynapoint GT's since after going to 3 CT's it was the only thing I could find. I see guys in the U.S selling these for $50 a box. CT had a sign up saying the M22's had been recalled. Will be going to the range to sight in my scope this week so I'll see how these do at 50/100y.
