Ghost Ring sights!

I have been looking around but was wondering if anyone has bought Ghost ring sights or similar for a Mossberg 590 and can guide me to a vendor with reasonable prices and good service?

Check out Tactical Ordnance. I haven't dealt with them as of yet but plan on doing so in the near future. From what I've heard they are pretty dang good, both price wise and if you need them to install the sights!

Alternatively you can mount a pic rail and add and xs or the like.

My one mossberg 590a1 has a factory grs with no rail. My 590a1 spx has a rail with a hrs from lpa. Thats straight from mossberg too

I found this for a reasonable price on a sponsor's website. My question is: how does it attach to the shotgun? I have a ribbed smooth bore and would like to avoid having to install a rail as well. (I'm a Fudd, guilty as charged)

Those will only mount with a rail of some sort.

What are you planning for a front sight?

The have a same model front sight, however I was going to TRY to get away with my bead (and expecting to fail miserably).

I'm going to say its impossible to line a bead up elevated rear sight. At least if you plan on actually hitting your target.
