Too bad Zev just stopped shipping direct to Canada recently, because up until about a month ago I was able to order up to $500 value right off their site. I placed 3 orders before they stopped shipping direct to Canada...Now I have to use an exporter, but I still buy direct from Zev. I have a large Glock 17 order (dragonfly slide, and custom machined and coated barrel, and slim magwel) that is at Irunguns right now being exported for me, and I just placed another order for a complete custom Zev 19 that should be ready in about 1-2 months time...Currently I have the ultimate fulcrum trigger kit, ti pin kit, ti extended slide release, extended mag release, spring and rod kit, slide back plate....

Problem is a lot of places that have Zev parts in stock wont ship to Canada, but Questar website shows 3 ZEV gen3 mag wells in stock, but you did not mention what gen you have?

Really nice parts if you haven't seen them in person.....Have not been able to shoot the trigger kit yet as I just became a member at my range last week and I am waiting for my LATT. However I can say just dry firing the trigger has completely transformed the trigger in these guns. I can not wait to shoot it

That is what I have also gen 4 17, but with my slide and the spring/rod kit I convert to gen3 guide rod and springs. If your not changing your slide you can get an adapter to use gen3 in gen4

Its simple you order from Zev have them ship to IRUNGUNS, fill out the import from on Irunguns website and wait because they only export once a month... But it is not cheap! their minimum price was $200 for an export...Maybe not worth it for what you want, my orders are $1245 and $1813 US so an extra $200 to export them wasn't a deal breaker. And dont forget you will also have to pay tax

Another exporter I called was $400 minimum for an export, but that was for up to 10 guns per one export

That's crazy. Lol. I'm still trying to plan the mod.
Magwell: Zev or Carver
Jager open kit
But still debating on red dot mount. Frame mount or slide mount????
Thx johnnyP636

My slide is co witness rmr, with a cover plate. So I can remove the rmr and just use sights if I want too and cover the rmr pocket for aesthetics

Frame mount, I had a slide mount Red Dot on a G34 for a few years and after 20K rounds the red dot was pooched. Just couldn't take the constant pounding.
My experience may be a one off, just throwing it out there for ya.

Go on the B&B Enterprise website and look around.

That's what I heard. Since you tried both mount. Which one is easier for follow up shot? And when you use the frame mount, does the red dot lift more than the slide mount red dot? Are you shooting major or minor?

Thx

This was before I shot IPSC, so it was just minor loads at the range for fun. With a Major load it might not have lasted as long.

Thank you for the help, I think I have an idea what I wanna do.
My set up will be
KKM barrel, comp (don't know yet), glockworx trigger, zev magwell, SJC mount, C more red dot, etc.
Any suggestion?

Which model do you prefer? And why? 17 or 34 both shooting minor. Thank you

I have never shot a 34 so I cant compare to a 17, but if your using it for competition I would assume the 34 is the better gun for you as it is designed for exactly that, a competition shooting pistol...Longer gun same caliber, lighter trigger pull in stock form...

I did not buy any of my Glocks to compete, if I did I would have probably bought a 34 for 9mm, but to be honest after shooting a Tanfoglio Stock II Xtreme recently. I don't think it would be a Glock at all that I would choose to compete with, as Ive spent over $2000 on modding my Glock and I don't think it will ever be as nice as that gun was out of the box for $2500. First 10 rounds out of that gun felt better then after shooting 50 out of a Glock 17, 22, 31, or 21 that I have shot so far

Have you ever tried anything like a Tanfoglio? It was an eye opener for me, still love Glocks but I dont value them as much for competition use. I look forward to trying CZ also, as I have been told by many that it is just as good a shooter as a Tanfoglio but at a much lower price point.

Im very new to shooting so I started with Glocks, I just wanted a Glock and I liked the fact that they are so upgradable. I do realize now that they are not the best shooting guns out there, and maybe that is whey there are so many mods available for them...LOL

Nice find but 2-3 months for an export is a long time. Irunguns charged me $200 because I exported almost a complete gun, I'm sure they can do cheaper if it's just a part or 2. As the link you posted is $50 more for a complete gun then their price. I'd call and ask might be same price or cheaper and they export every month no 2-3 months
