Walked into Wolverines in Red Deer yesterday with the intent to pick up a cleaning kit for one of my rifles. Noticed a sign on the wall saying Overstocked on .22 and .17 rifles, 20% off. No harm in looking, right? The next 10 minutes are a bit of a haze, when I come out of my fog I'm walking to my car with a cleaning kit and a brand new 10/22 in desert digi camo. Dammit not again!

Side note: I know there is a shortage of .22 ammo and found out just how bad it is. 550 brick of federal is going for $75 and 1000 round bucket of winchester is going for $100. Insanity!

Walmart, Canadian Tire/ect all got the Fed 525 for the $30 and less mark.

I just picked up 6 boxes of Fed 525 the other day, an NO I ain't saying where from.
 
Never been there and thanks to your post about the ammo, probably wont.

Sounds like scam city, get ppl to buy "sale" 22 gun then way over mark-up price on ammo....
