Yes I did get it off rickymo, and now that I've been to the range with it a few times I see why he was selling it. not sure if it's the real deal or not, if you knew how to tell real from fake id be glad to check it.

Well, I posted in that thread that it could potentially be worth a lot of money as he had no idea what it was. Knowing that, you'd think he'd probably do some research to find out if he had a $500 handguard or a $30 one and adjust his price in EE accordingly. I have no idea how to tell a real one from the fake as I've not seen either in real life, but here's a broken linky to the real one:

I was recently given an old 3x9 Leapers scope with rings so I just picked up a carry-handle rail and got it on ... I wonder if I can sight this in, LOL

LOL, a good cheek weld should put that scope right in line with the top of your forehead.

Ya, it's goofy that's for sure. I was playing around with it and the only way to bring the sight plane down to a reasonable level is to jack up the rear iron sight to tilt down the rail, as the back of the rail sits on the sight... I wonder what MOA adjustment range I'm working with here
