Hi everyone. Hoping someone can help.
I have a brand new Browning BPS 12ga. 2 3/4"-3" shotgun.
The cheap winchester low brass/aluminum Jams my pump closed 1 in every 3 rounds.
All the higher brass seems to cycle fine.
I included some pictures of a small divot left in my high brass shells the Gun seems to leave.
I know the easy solution is to just not shoot the cheap stuff. But I want to make sure the gun function correctly and that there's nothing wrong.
I'm worried it could be the follower arms that eject the empty shell.
I've inspected it all and everything gun is flush and the arms on the bps seem to function perfect.
My local gunsmith says it's an easy fix and he will simply Polish the bore.

Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Your gun is fine. The mark is from the extractor cut or recess. Polish your chamber if you must shoot the crappy Winchester ammo. I recommend shooting a little better quality ammo. My BPS would do the same thing with that crap ammo. Oh did I mention that the Winchester ammo was crap?

I find this interesting in that Browning would not have caught the low brass (crap soft steel bases) and polished the chamber before sending out to the consumer.
It is not a gun of Remington Express quality by any stretch.
Anyways, hopefully a quick polish and Bobs yer Uncle and your back out there.

Sigh of relief ... I'm not alone.
No more shorty winchester ammo.
