.22 Ammo Stash

WOW serious price gouging going on here,,,even from site sponsors,,,let a lot of people,i started buying up 22LR anytime i could find it cheap,,2 years ago,,when my US friends told me it was comming here next,,so 40,000 rounds ahead,,this price gouging doesnt affect me too much,,and 22 are a lot of fun to shoot so it goes fast..

Well..........There probably is a little of that, plus the CDN dollar isn't as strong as it was.

They may be paying more at the wholesale level too.

There is no such thing as "hoarding" there is however - prudent resource management, never running out when YOU need it and having inventory adequate to your needs.

Yes I buy case lots when I can but have never filled up a pickup box ....yet

I stocked up a few years ago at good prices, got at least 50,000 rounds of various .22lr in my stash. I don't care if you want to call me a hoarder, I had the money at the time to invest and the prices I paid per case were all excellent deals. I only wish I had bought more CCI Blazer for 170.00 a case or Minimag for 280.00 a case.

The biggest irony for me is I did all this preperation so I could shoot but due to an injury I am unable to. At least my ammo won't go bad while I am recovering ;)

some impressive stashes here

I currently only have 1350 CCI blazers, 250 yellow jackets, and 200ish rem match grade

and for my 17hmr 1050 CCI game points, mostly 20 grains, couple boxes of 17 grains

I'm running low on 22LR still need to get more quality ammo then the bulk crap..

I was able to add a few thousand rounds to my stash last weekend. :)

CCI Mini Mags, Federal Champion, Remington High Velocity Golden Bullet, Winchester 222 round packs.

Still on the lookout for more, especially CCI Stingers locally, but I'm good for a little while.

Never seen the Winchester in the brown box before!

looks alot like the winchester 200th anniversary stuff i got a few years back, man if only i knew what i did now! it's nickel plated and worked awesome in my 22's. $19/neatly packed brick!

here's my stash as of right now, not as much as i thought i had :( it's around 27k, but i thought i got above 30k. although that was a few months back so i guess i've been shooting more then i thought.

Now THAT'S a stash!!!!

I hoarded when I lived in texas. Brought in ammo that has a price of $4 for my 22 mag. My 525 bricks of federal were $7.95. Makes me nostalgic for old ammo prices. My goal is to use it all up before I die.

Wow some of you guys get it done! Just added 1000 mini mags to the safe and thought I'd talley up.

I'm at just over 5750 with 3/4 being cci -sv- green tag-stingers-mini mags. Have 1000 fed auto match (I like these! need more) 400 fed target and usually buy 2 boxes of others to try that makes up the rest.

I don't use win or rem and pass them up, caught a wal mart guy putting out win333's for 15.95 the other day, was kinda tempting until I read some reviews later, and bad luck with rem stuff.
