I held off for years getting a VZ/CZ 58 pattern rifle and well, I finally picked up my first in September from another sponsor.redface: sorry, but they are also one of my local guys...)
I have to admit, I wish I got one sooner and don't know what I was thinking.
Anyway, at least one of your 958s is going to find a place in my collection, once they finally get the green light that is...
and please give Mr. Wolverine a big thank you for taking the risk on this project and here's to hoping it pays off.

Out of curiosity I see how the shells are getting ejected, do they beat up the optics rail with brass marks like a wartak rail on a sks, does a guy ever have to be worried about his optic getting all scarred? The ejections seemed pretty consistent with direction just curious.

Here is a close up of the ejection port etc, as you can see considering all the rounds it has seen there have been very few hits from casings. There is no way it is going to hit the rail or an optic mounted on it.
Besides firearms and optics need character marks so people at least think you have shot it...
