IPSC World Shoot

Rob may be shooting minor, but after 3 days he thinks he chose wrong. Maybe the last 2 days will change his mind (but I doubt it).

Their choice. The stages appear to favor minor, and they both listened to a couple Classic shooters who shot the pre-match with major and recommended minor. I advised that Rob stay with major (because I thought the pre-match guys were suffering from "the grass is always green on the other side" syndrome) but he didn't listen to me and decided to go minor. His comment to me today was that he should have listened to me: but the match isn't over yet, so I'll check with him again when it's all said and done.

I did find it interesting that they were shooting minor, I know angus shot major but he shot the pre-match
 
While I'm involved in some serious ass-kicking, I'm not on the end of the deal that I'd like.

I'm on a squad with Julien Boit from France and that boy has some serious game. I on the other hand am putting in a far less than stellar performance. Oh well: you can't win them all!

Canada marches in at the 7:00 Min mark.

The organizers had us parade down the streets of the city, we passed a bar along the way and I was afraid that we might loose a few for a beer stop but everyone held fast and made it to the end.

Murray and I kept joking about pulling an "Änimal House" on the procession and heading off down an alley.

It was a lot of fun.

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a STI USPSA 9mm on your site.

Great - thanks - keep in mind that I shot the prematch - all my scores are in the system - there is at least another day (likely yesterday too) of other competitors'results to enter - I may look good now, but it won't last.
 
From what I've seen this is easily the best world shoot in the last 12 years. Sucks that we've lost two guys to DQ's (Mo and Mike) though.
 
Sounds like the suspense will build a little more. Looks like todays match scores will not be published so that the final results can be announced at the awards. The top 20 in each category will be posted later tonight but in random order.

At least they were clear, clean DQ'able offences. Ryan got bumped to open on his first stage for supposedly having 16 rounds in his mag. His mom's video of it sounds and looks like he only had 15 but the RO would not reverse her call.
