Case prep centers.

I have been reloading for nearly 4 years now.
My reloading has evolved from a single Lee press to multiple single and progressive presses.
From a Lee trimmer stud to a Sinclair/ L.E. Wilson stainless ultimate trimmer and a Dillon RT 1200 however I'm still chamfering and deburring manually and I'm considering purchasing a case prep center.

Which one are you using and are you satisfied with it?
Is there another one you would purchase instead of the one you have?

Giraud trimmer users how quickly and easily can you change between calibers?

i have the old version of the RCBS, my only complaint is that the rotational speed was just a tad to slow

on the new model it looks like they have addressed that. but that being said im not sure if its available separately from being attached to the trimmer

I just bought two of the cheap Lee chamfers and rigged them to fit into my drill press. One is setup for the inside case edge and the other for the outside case edge - works pretty well.

I have the hornady one and I like it. Be nice if it spun a little faster but it works and can also do primer pockets if you care about that.

I have the Framkford Arsenal case prep machine. I like it
I only use it for .223 AR ammo. Trim to length, chamfer in & out, ream out primer pockets.

I have the new Universal Case Prep Center , and I don't for a second regret my purchase. It is quick, and the micrometer adjustment for the trimmer works quite well.

I have been using the Lyman Case prep tool for a few years now without any complaints. It's quite and fairly powerful. Any tool - such as flash-hole deburring tools - that thread into RCBS handles can be screwed into the Lyman unit.

I just asked a similar question regarding the Hornady unit.

I currently have an old RCBS Trim Mate case prep centre, and trim using the Lee cutter/case length gauge/lock stud system, though I use it 'backwards'. I chuck the cutter/case length gauge in a drill press, and hold the shell holder/lock stud in a screwdriver handle.

I'm not sure the extra speed is worth the price of the upgrade (either the RCBS or Hornady) for me.
