Problem with Corwin-Arms (european contract) M14 Magazines

Has anyone encountered the same problem?
My three, recently purchased Czech made (black) magazines from Corwin-Arms keep getting loose after every shot in either a Norc M14 and DA Socom. I took the time to seat these magazines properly and they had a strong lock-up, each one was holding solidly in the receiver. Next, I would rack the bolt, fire a shot and the magazine would 'pop out' out of it's position, dangling slightly at 'half-in' position.

I don't have the same problem with original factory mags, nor with the KCI magazines but these black, Czech ones (three, that I own and tried) do fall out. i've noticed that the tab on the spine of the magazine is slightly shorter than the factory ones. Perhaps this is the reason for them shaking loose.

Any suggestions or similar issues? It's quite frustrating to fire off repeated shots when the magazine keeps getting loose after each shot and not feeding the next round.

i have 4 of these mags , no issues at all except the finish has scratched a bit, seems to be a black paint finish? They run great in my 3 m14s .. I know the DA socom has issues with the mag release out of spec i think. both me and a friend had to replace our mag release latches on our DAs for them to function with all types of mags .

Silesia are you one of the guys who is trying to set up tactical accessories store in New Westminster BC?

Where did you source your new mag release? Which manufacturer? Is that really a cost effective way versus just buying a proper fitting magazine?

I bought a tuned m305 from a certain guru and the mag release was ####ed. The mags would do exactly what you are describing. I replaced it with a sadlak release and the mags stay put and fit perfect.

I think bought the aftermarket release at hical , i have heard of people filing down the out of spec release too getting it to work that way .. None of my mags wound fit my DA socom properly , all mags should be the same you dont have to find a proper fitting one , they should all work in every type of M14 rifle
