I ended up with a keltec SU-16 recently. I took it to the range and did some blasting. Good accuracy,..better than I figured it would have.
I did notice though...this gun seems to cycle very fast. I think I can shoot it faster than my M4 nork. I let my buddy shoot my nork and I used the SU. Then we traded. We used 10rdLar mags. The SU was always a bit ahead. Any one ever try this or notice this ?
Ammo was just cheap spam can. maybe its the recoil that helps reset the trigger faster..I don't know.
I have owned tons of semi auto rifles ,but this ones seems to rock.

Though I have had no other rifle to compare it with, I found that the one I had, I could dump the 10 an 14 rnd mags reaallllly fast. And it was easy to keep on target.

I saw a lady at the range with one of these a couple of weeks back. She was trying to hit the gongs at 200m. While she wasn't hitting much of anything, it did cycle very fast and looked real cool.

And while you're ,only, at the range, the latter two are very important....lol

well.... I was impressed enough to ask her fiancé what it was.
I'm just kidding ,I loved my SU16, I only sold it because I blew the brake apart. I sold it as a parts gun,and now because I had a little extra cash,I ordered an XCR-l. I had over a thousand rnds ,no ftf, fte, stove pipes . It ran smooth.

And the charm will wear off when the receiver comes apart from the battering it is taking.
I think that issue was due to a cleaning error,( not staking something properly upon reassembly). Also I believe they changed something where the bolt was traveling. Anyway I have 9 lar mags and could dump all 9 consecutively with no problems other than the barrel getting a bit hot. Load them up and do it again no prob.

This has been my experience (touch wood). Very reliable, fairly accurate and fast. No regrets and no plans to sell it.

well your right. I actually seen a fellow at the range with the pistol version and the back end broke while he was shooting it. "see my other post". So I guess a person has to be aware of this inherent fault when purchasing this rifle. It runs REALLY FAST...but can break. Sure is a TON of fun when its working though.
