Hey guys I love CGN and have been kicked off a few Aussie forums for whatever reasons, so im trying to broaden my horizons and get my Fix of reading about big game hunting stories from around the world....

I signed up to Tikkashooters.... a snail goes faster than that site.

Im looking for a forum to sign up to that's about hunting all sorts of game more so than the technical rifle stuff, I get a lot of help via CGN regarding any tech Questions so that's not important.

What forum have you found to be worthwhile ??

cos ima guna go an sign up yo!

thanks

Accuratereloading.com might have what you're looking for. Wild amounts of experience, exotic and mundane hunts. (Depends where you live, one guy's exotic is the next guys backyard), free classified for discounted and last minute hunts, separate sections for hunts around the world. Enough professionals (who don't always agree) and knowledgeable amateurs that often have more specific experience than many of the professionals. Then theres the personality disorders, the trolls, the green-horns, and the ego-maniacs. There is a broad spectrum of members from around the world, including plenty of Aussies. Its also a good place to check out outfitters, because its a sure bet someone knows him.

It would be hard to get kicked off that one, unless you insulted Sheik Saeed personally.

The alberta outdoorsman forum can have good info in the hunting section but it seems every single topic turns into massive arguements by people who seem to be there simply to start arguements.

http://albertasportsman.com/ is another alberta hunting forum, not very active compared to the ao forum but none of the bs that' on ao, either.

We have a similar arrangement in BC. A busy site full of a-holes and a slow, polite site. Both have been mentioned in this thread. I'll let the OP figure out which is which.

haha its the same down here....

one forum has all the action from rabbit to buffalo but it also lures in some of the biggest w@nks in Oz, like some kind of "Boys club" where the post count must be high and I got your back an you got mine type stuff..... that's AHN

the other one is reasonable, but mostly no eye deer hunters, not much techy talk, very little variety, bugger all hunt reports but they do have one good annual hunt in the Wonnongatta valley, which I enjoy.
that's aushunt.

I'l check a few of the sites out, that Albertaoutdoors one has some good hunt reports of moose seasons an trail cam pics, pitty I need to sign up to view most "attatchments" but for those who have photobucket-ed I can see a bit :)

Dogleg, that one sounds like a good one... ill check it

cheers

Here's a few to try Whelanlad: Ontario Out of Doors, MarlinOwners.com, Nitro Express.com and Alaska Hunting Supersite - Alaska Hunting Forums.

Ontario Out of Doors is a web site with a forum and online magazine. MarlinOwners has a huge forum and they talk about more than Marlins. Nitro Express.com has a big and dangerous game forum whose members hunt in places like Africa and I believe Down Under/Asia.

And my favorite is Alaska Hunting forums as the guys on it can be real characters sometimes. They get along well for the most part and share a lot of info and tips gleaned from real world experience living in a place where if you **k up, it could get you killed. I've gathered a lot of info on the .358 Win and .35 Whelan on this site.

If you want to watch some hunting and fishing try Michigan Out of Doors. You can stream their shows. I used to watch it on the PBS feed when it broadcasted out of Michigan.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, try Accurate Reloading. Everything you asked for and more, very cosmopolitan membership, great place to find info on any kind of hunting anywhere in the world or to find deals on guided hunts. If you don't play well with others, the owner/operator is extremely tolerant of bad behaviour.

I agree if there is one site that has everything worldwide it's ACCURATERELOADING.COM

I go to different forums for different reasons. AR for anything international, African or big bore. CGN for anything Canadian. 24hr if I want to read about a new product as the gun writers there often have sneak previews. Huntingbc for the best of BC hunting. Canadiangunslingers to have a bit of fun (small site with lots of witty banter) :). Don't much check out any other sites anymore.

Canadian Gunslingers??

I thought that site was only open during the summer months and then shut down during the school year. :)

What he said - one of the best forums on the internet!
