New? No M1 Rifles have been made since the mid 50's, except SA Inc.'s copies. And even those are no longer being made.
...
Comparing an ordinary Garand to one of my rifles is like comparing Mary-Jane Rottencrotch to a twenty year old Gina Lollabrigida
For the benefit of the smelly schmoes who change their underwear only once a month and who then call it good:
My Garand rifle are made to the very highest standards imaginable. In all modesty, these are among the finest examples of the Garand M1 ever made.
I use the finest parts possible and money is no object. I don't care what it costs because I don't screw around. I ask myself if this part is the best I can find. If it is not the best, I won't bother.
My last three rifles were built with Krieger barrels. I used Krieger barrels because they are the finest gun barrel made in the world today.
A Krieger Garand barrel is also the finest barrel that has ever graced a Garand. I used Krieger barrels. because I don't screw around.
Before installing a barrel, there 17 separate inspection and gauging operations before a receiver is deemed acceptable. I take a lot of trouble, because I don't screw around.
Each bolt is very carefully inspected under high magnification and each bolt is carefully lapped and fitted to each receiver. Very little actually lapping is done because Italian bolts and receivers were made to very high standards. It usually requires only a very light burnishing to fit an Italian bolt and receiver. And some receivers and bolts are perfect to begin with.
And after the bolt is fitted, brand new bolt parts are installed. I don't use old extractors, etc. because I don't screw around
Each gas cylinder bore is measured by local machine shop. Those gas cylinders that are not within specifications are ruthlessly culled.
And after the gas cylinder passes muster, I have it Nitron coated by Arma Coat. I don't simply paint the gas cylinder because good enough is not good enough. Good enough is not good enough because I don't screw around.
Each operating rod is carefully inspected. The tabs must not be worn and any damage or peening to the cam slot will disqualify an operating rod.
I could go on and on, but I won't. All I can say is that each of my rifles is perfect in every possible way. People who know me think I am insane. I might be. But I don't screw around.

You're showing your age there stud. Betcha 75% of CGN'ers don't know who or what you mean.
I bet you're a real hoot at parties, autismo.
Thanks for making me burst out laughing in front of a bunch of co-workers.
