Norc cqa not extracting shell

My extractor is only working about half the time.Then the next round jams up under the first still in the barrel.Is this a common issue? and is there a fix,new extractor or bolt?or is it just a cheap peice of crap norc? thanx for any advice.
 
Is this a new norc or a used one you bought? Are you able to take the bolt apart and clean it/inspect it? And, of course, any pics:redface:?

Mine FTE'd like you described all the time. I switched out the extractor spring and put in a doughnut thing and it fixed it. Its a weak extractor spring problem (most likely).

Is it the 14.5 or the 10.5 barrel?
 
I also say extractor upgrade. Fixed mine, cheap, easy. The exractor and related components looked fine, I decided to try the upgrade at the advice of others, and it worked 100%

sweet thanx for the replys,Ive ordered the bcm oring and spring kit.Im thinking a new buffer spring maybe as well.a stronger spring might slow down the cycle?its only a short barrel,10.5.

X2! Only cost me a few bucks and it has worked like a bit damn for 2 years now. Not a hick up since

What an amazingly helpful post, really, you rarely see advice of this quality, and from such a respected expert here on CGN.

OP, as the guys have said, it sounds like it needs an extractor upgrade, if Questar is out, most of the bigger dealers do have them (Wolverine, TSE etc.) easy to do if you watch the videos.
