Interest in Mossberg 590A1 14" or 14" 590A1 CYL/MOD Barrels imported by Irunguns?

When I shoot #7.5 or #5 shot out of my 14", I really didn't want or need that immediate, wide spread that a short barreled open cyl muzzle gives.

I can see the application for HD, but that is not why I brought this gun. That's not the reason I but any gun actually. I want the tightest groups as possible at a distance with whatever shot I'm using at the time.

My thinking as well, want a bush gun. What is the overall length of these things?

Nevermind that they're hear at all, in a store, I'm still gobsmacked at how good a deal this was. What's a Remington 870 Police 14" with bead sight going for, close to a $1000, if not more? I think I might engrave a small unicorn underneath the stock.

The last factory 14' 870P I bought cost me $1000.00 (new / unfired). The last factory 14' 590A1 I bought cost me 900.00 (new / unfired). Both were bought privately.

Or, does the ''shipped on the 29th'' mean they are being shipped to them, from ## on the 29th?

no i talked to them on the phone, they had a tonne of order besides the shotguns, shipped means shipped to me. They would not advertise something in stock if they dont have it, instead they would say pre-order if that was the case.

The 14" 590A1 is made for quick aiming LEO applications and is a 'close quarters' shotgun or a 'room sized' area. Anything else expected of it, will probably disappoint. This is what I wanted when I bought my Cylinder Bore version. I'm unsure the Modified choke will make a huge difference in a barrel that short. Maybe someone will buy both versions and do a write-up with a video.

Yeah I have my 20" 590A1 too for long distances, but I've heard from other 12" & 14" shotgun owners and they have exceptional results at longer range with slugs. 25-50 yrds would be my typical usage though.
Again, using these for CQ's has little real life application for me and likely most of us despite being used by professionals for that purpose.
Its a good bush defense and pack shotgun because of its size, and can be wielded easily.
But I would definitely not underestimate it's capability at longer range targets.

Its a great bush gun or truck gun.

Thanks for the catalog link!
Are all those sights interchangeable? We need some pictures up here of the new owners 14's once they get them!!

catalogs.mossberg.com/2014_Law_Enforcement/. Specs on page 15.

Looks like the OAL is 33.75 with a speed feed stock and 34.25 with the regular synthetic stock. So only a half inch difference.

I think I may get a Magpul SGA stock for mine and be able to adjust the LOP. Can't wait for the mailman to get here!

On page 15 is the specs. Which one that we are looking at?
