Hey guys,

Where I can find the best deal on Mosin Nagant 91/30? I saw some somewhere at around 100$ but I don't remember where

Not the cheapest price compared to just a rifle but imho it might be the best deal, CanAm has a 91/30 + 1000rnd crate of 7.62x54r for 399$ shipped to your door.

I think SFRC had some "scratch and dents" for $139. MNs are basically a commodity with commodity pricing. Getting one for $100 is going to be like buying gold for $600oz - only happen if you find somebody who really wants to unload one fast. In the US, pawn shops are where these deals are. Not really many opportunities in Canada.
Right now there aren't many around at the retail level - at least not around here.

I got a mosin at wholesale sports this summer( numbers matching pre war) for $145(it was $160 but they had a sale,$15 off orders over $150)then I got 880 rounds for $200, that's the best I've seen in the last 2 years or so

You saw it at westrifle about two years ago. I told everyone then that it is going to last just a few month. Prices went up overseas from then. Especially with conflict in Ukraine. You will not see that price again. I guarantee it. But now as every year surplus rifles go up in price.

Bought 2 from westrifle a couple years ago, you won't see that price again! Very nice rifles. I bought another from CT. here in town ($199) and it's not bad at all. Has the early stock I was looking for. I noticed yesterday they have one in stock if anyones interested, it also has a early stock with the screwed in escutcheons.

I've been hoping that they will get in some SVT's but new stock seems to be drying up with those.

My buddy picked up a 91 delivered and tax in for $160. I think it was from SFRC but I could be wrong. His has issues with extraction of a spent casing. Every case stuck after firing and the bolt had to be severely banged to open the action after every shot. The gun cycles rounds and cycles with no ammo perfectly. In fact, it has the smoothest action I've seen from a Mosin! Had a gunsmith go over the chamber and bore and it still sticks!

Could this be your friends sticky bolt problem?

That is exactly his problem except his doesn't jam with an unfired live round and also no problem cycling empty. Problem only with a freshly fired round. He was using 200gr surplus JSP ammo.
I will send him a PM with your link and he can figure it out!
Thank you for the vid, jhedsy!

Don't you hate it when you say "I was going to but....." When Westrifle had them on for $100 I bought a half dozen. Mostly in very nice condition (good guys to deal with). I was going to buy a crate but just never got around to it. Sigh. The same thing happened in the 70s. A buddy of mine was buying South American Mausers for about $40 each if by the crate. At that time I had no interest. A short time ago, Chinese SKSs were the cheapos and now, they are suddenly commanding a higher price. Milsurps just keep going up.
