Collapsible would be fine. Pistol only...would be close because the Raptor birds head type is just at 26" but that one extends a bit further past a regular pistol grip.

Not sure I follow what you are saying. The question, as I read it, is that even though this combination is under 26" OAL; is it legal as a non-restricted or not? Which it is not. Altering the gun to be less that 660 mm clearly moves it out of the non-restricted category. Maybe I am reading the question wrong?

Nice! Not much to be improved on. But the Hogue will. Mine is enroute along with the SF forend. I ended up not going with the DSF, too much $. One Shot Tactical has a good sale on the 621 LM, (specifically for 14" Mossberg) still very bright at 200 lumens so I picked up that one.
