Hey guys I recently picked up a DD bolt for my gas piston setup from wolverine. Great guys to deal with as usual.

Now my question is I would like to carry a spare bolt in my range bag. But after seeing these from rusty woods their AIM AR .223/5.56 9310 MPI BDG Bolt Carrier Group for 120.00 seems like if it's half decent to go that way. And if the gas piston decides to quit on me one day I can just swap out to DI
since the DD bolt was like $90 why not spend $30 more and get the whole bcg.
Comments?

Exactly, and it's a FA carrier too. Look at the specs

AIM AR .223/5.56 9310 MPI BDG Bolt Carrier Group
Features 9310 Bolt Material; 8620 Chrome lined carrier and gas key; Properly staked Investment cast gas key hardened to USGI specifications fast with Hardened Grade 8 Fasteners; Shot peened MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected) Bolt. Extractor O-Ring upgrade with Black Insert.
Price $120.00 IN STOCK

if you don't ever want to worry about a BCG, look at FailZero at Brownells, everything else is a waste.

Not a particularly helpful post my friend.
I've also never had an issue with my spikes or colt bcgs.
Im just staying that for the price, with its specs, could make up for a ruined range trip without stripping a bcg from one of my other ar's. It's a spare for the range. Paper targets don't shoot back
Oh yeah and it's a canadian shop for what it's worth
