Anyone else excited about Kel Tecs new little carbine?
Yes, I know 22 wmr is nearly the same price as 9mm but it still looks like a cool rig.
Throw on a Canadian length barrel to make it NR and I'd pay $700 for one.

Looks like they share the magazine with the PMR30 pistol. So pinned to 10 rounds for Canada. But I guess it's no different than pistol caliber carbines with 10 round magazines. Non-restricted would make this an interesting gopher gun.

We talked about this back in 2011 and still not in Canada yet.
I don't think it will ever make its way here.

I almost wish they would make a little indent/slot on in the magwell. Then they could produce 30rd mags with a matching tab on the outside. These 30rd mags would only fit in the carbine and not the pistol.

The Americans would simply use the pistol mags and would wonder what the little indent was.

NR, 30 round mag, fixed stock with decent ergonomics, under $500...I might be tempted. Otherwise, I'll take a pass on the plastic and exposed screws. I like Kel-Tec well enough, but I've never held one...looked at the price tag...and not felt very confused. I'd own one if I thought they were priced right for what you get, and it would likely be an SU-22.

With rimfire, barrel length is not the issue when it comes to being NR, but I believe overall length is. At this point it would be considered restricted unless it had either a fixed stock or longer barrel to bring that overall length to 26".

Kel tec has been teasing us with this thing for almost 4 years. I wouldn't hold your breath. I would of course buy one. I love the 22wmr cartridge.

Gonna try out my new KPOS pistol carbine conversion for my Glock today. Me things 9mm would be more fun than .22WMR. Although I love the magnum too!
