The movie is 'Young Ones' just recently released.

I wonder if everything its aimed at explodes into a fireball.

hellish fireball..........notice the lap belt from the deuce and a half attached as a sling........that's to keep your battle rifle with you through the fire ball and flying debris field......

Wow, it's set in the future in the USA and they still even have .303 ammo, must be some of that never-ending Greek stuff -

Yah, but 100 years after the apocalypse, the Enfield and the 870 will still run, and still be worth reloading for. There'll be a lot of surplus 5.56 lying around, and not a single AR still working to shoot it.

And that setup's gonna be a #%^* er to get that SMLE barrel bedded proper on. By the time he gets to the third shot I bet it's a foot high.

Mossberg 500 looks like

Mossberg 500 under a No1 Mk3, and that seat belt sling would make for a very comfortable carry. Don't ask me how I know!

It's neither a 500 or an 870.... It's very obviously a Winchester 1300

It's got cute Grrlz with nice ( . )( . ) and it has an SMLE.

All I need for it to go into the "SMLE DVDs" pile, along with "The Blue Max", "Shaft in Africa", "Return to King Solomon's Mines", "Passchendaele", "The 55 Days of Peking" and (the rarest of the lot) "Going Home": the movie which the NFB, CBC and BBC don't want to admit they made. Only a handful of others, all with Lee-Enfields of one Mark or another, go into that pile.

I would love to see the manufacturing table on that particular rifle!

As to accuracy, granted, the barrel is completely exposed, but the SMLE had a floating barrel anyway, simply with damping points added. I would think that accuracy (or lack thereof) would depend for the most part on CONSISTENCY of the ammunition.

I could be 'way off here.

I do believe there is a Test Session coming up in a few months (when the weather improves). Gawd knows I certainly have enough of Bubba's handiwork around here.... and a couple have very decent bores.
