I have Surefire forend on my HP9-1.

I would like to replace the current 60 lumen light head with a higher power LED replacement.

Does anyone have suggestions plus vendors with stock?

Thanks Nutz.

Malkoff Devices all the way, I buy them direct from his site in the US (Georgia I believe). Solid brass heat sinking base, built well, and he makes replacement heads for the SF lights, so you know his P60 replacements are made for the application. I have one in each of my shotguns. You may need to stretch the spring a bit to fit the older incan Surefire fore ends.

The M61 did not fit in my SF fore-end (originally came with P60 incan. bulb) even with the extra spacer Malkoff sent me. The brass base is simply too wide. YMMV.

I had the exact same problem. I ordered three from differant places thinking I had gotten the wrong one and none fit. Thought it would be awesome to save $150 on the upgrade.

I went with Malkoff devices for both my Surefire forend and my old 6P.

Wow! The increase from 90 and 60 lumens respectively to over 300 is impressive. Especially since the forend drops from two batteries to one.

Looks great, Geologist! I have a similar setup but with an old incan Surefire that I've been looking to upgrade. Looks like the Malkoff single cell will do the trick and it's cheaper and brighter than the Surefire drop-in. Did you order direct from Malkoff or through another vendor? How was the shipping?

I ordered it direct from Malkoff, shipping was fast and around $20 for both the forend and 6P devices.
