At the farm, i have a little 80 yards range near the barn, now this morning i am thinking that i need a cool new toy for my shooting with the grandkids in those winter months coming ahead, i dont need it for the range since i have many other cool toys ( handguns and AR's)...
I shot a Tavor, it was less accurate than my KAC but reliable, never handle a Kriss NR but Hickok45 sure make it look like a cool toy...
I am undecided and might as well use the good sale going on at one of our dealer... JP.

I would go with the tavor because you mention you are on a farm... got any coyotes? The .223 would be better suited for it so it would serve some practical purpose too.

I should add, i want this one for pure fun factor, for coyotes The MR-1 and the Mini-14 and and old 220 Swift are use in the rare occasion, we have a shot at one... JP.

Both are very fun to shoot! The ammos are not very expensive… especially if you’re reloading them... Xmas is coming very fast....You should buy them both! :)

I do believe the Kris was designed for full auto fire. To pull the muzzle down. Both pretty space aged looking, the NR Kris is stupid as hell looking to me with that big shroud barrel thing.

If I had to choose id go tavor

What's the weight on both of them? Or recoil? If the grandkids are on the younger side you might want to pick the lighter gun (or one with less recoil). I only have the Tavor and think it might be a little heavy for younger kids. Food for thought...

Kids that are involved in shooting are 12-12-13-14, those 4 all ready have shot the MR-1, the TD 10mm and the Berreta CX-5... The younger ones 8-9-10-10 will be shooting the SR-22, the CX-4 and the Papoose... Older ones all ready own their rifle and younger ones care more about their mommy's boobys... JP.

Tavor... IMHO the Kriss is fugly, and I found it chunky when I tried it. The NR version is even worse. There are better pistol carbines out there.

On the other hand, the Tavor is a slick NR bull pup. Not great for competition, but awesome for plinking in a NR way!
