Those are Champion bipods, a couple a year ago tru their famous 25% sale at Baron, i bought the last 6 ones, they came up to less than 30.00 each, they still carry those bipods but the price is hovering around 45.00 each now after discont membership... JP.

OH MY GOD! These things are fantastic,,,, at least the reciever/barrel, and bolt!! The stock on my first one is not that bad at all either and can be made great with very little work! The barrel is wild, with the color and the swirl, as my son would say that's wicked!! It looks like it has a varnish coating or something! I have never seen one like it! I will be tearing it down tomorrow for cleaning and then for the initial firing to compare with the future light polishing and bedding!
I guess you can tell I am more than satisfied so far, and for $200 delivered!

Figured I'd pipe in and share, scuffed my stock, decided to sand it down and refinish..... 100 grit all the way down to 220.. then boiled linseed oil and 320,400,600 after letting it dry for about 30 mins and about 7 or 8 days at a coat and sand a day, almost dry now. got much darker from the first coat, will wait a few days and maybe do another, would like it a bit darker.... got another ns522 coming in the mail:)

Nice, really brings out the grain, what kind of scope do you have there? Looks almost as long as the barrel!

its a sunshade that came with it, it's the mueller 4.5x14x40AO, left it on the scope figure it's not hurting anyone, also the bipod is on backwards(if thats possible) had it folding out to the front before but just put it on to take photos. got the gun off a fellow cgner who had pillard and bedded the action and floated the barrel a bit more, which I'll do myself with the new one.

Heres mine now, pillar bedded the action with lamp nipples and JB weld, free floated the barrel , ditched the stinky rubber buttpad for a polymer one , moved the sling swivel studs to proper location and painted the stock with OD krylon .. Running a Bushnell 10x mildot scope and Harris bipod , Makes a great little precision rifle trainer.

try some high end ammo if it doesn't tighten up the groups pillar bed her utube it super easy to do

Yep i think its a must , the way the stock fits out of box the action screws never tighten the same every time to a dead stop, causes zero shift and accuracy issues , and it causes the stock to flex with many pressure points on the barrel .. to free float the barrel i had to remove lots of wood , gave up with the sandpaper and used a rasp . If you add pillars make sure to extend them out past the bottom of the floor plate recess the width of 2 of those washers that they used to shim it and the floor plate will fit perfect . I actually took the lazy way out and never even bedded the floor plate with epoxy but just drilled bigger holes in the 4 washers so they fit over the end of the pillars , then just put 2 more washers at the end of the floorplate where theres no action screw to shim it all even . Now my action screws tighten up and stop dead with tight fitted action and free floated barrel.

FYI, I took a gamble and ordered Weaver low profile scope rings to install my burris fullfield II 3-9x40, and I'm very happy to report that it fits perfect and the scope is close to the bore and clears the bolt handle.

They were cheap but seems good quality for the price, + they are made in USA.

I want to use a compact size scope (short tube) on my new rifle but it has to be mounted at the back end of the receiver. I've tried other mounts on the first NS522 but nothing seems to work because of the way the action is made, so I bought one of these scope mounts on eBay. I'll post a picture if the set up works.
