south western ontario choke reaming

I believe Wortners Gun Works in Chatham can do that for you I have never had a choke done there but they did a great job to my remington fixed it up like new.

A month may not be enough time at any smithy's this time of year. You're right smack in the middle of deer season. You'll likely have to call every shop you've ever heard of.

The last 2 guns they did left ridged tooling marks in the barrels. I'm not happy with their service or quality of work.
If i have to send the gun out to be done I'll be shipping the others to be redone

Try Nick Makinson in London. He has done choke work for several friends and they were happy with the results. Make sure you get a time commitment otherwise you might get your gun back next summer. This is a bad time of year to get work done anywhere on a short time frame.

They did great job on mine, I'm a senior machinist so I can appreciate good work, priced out buying my own reamer but was 5x the price for reamer then what they charged me, they just installed a muzzle break on my friends 7mm and it was beautiful work

Your probably one of those old farts that no one can make happy, I'm sure general gun does not want your business anyway.

2 for 2 jobs that I wasn't impressed with I won't be going back.
Every time I remember to call or stop in santarossas its a Wednesday. I'm going to call him as soon as the oiled stock dries up good

Stop in and see what they did to my barrels. Guarantee you wouldn't be impressed. Only place I know that thinks it's normal to have an inside barrel look and feel like a rippled Potatoe chip. Theyre closer to being threaded them reamed out
