issue with a 10/22

Went out hunting with it and it would be dead on after 5,6 shots. Not sure if it is scope or barrel problems. What would be a good scope for it? How hard to change the barrel? Thanks jon
 
Barrel change- pull action out of stock,remove bolt, remove v block and pull barrel out
Sightron has a spiffy scope that alot of people are using I have a nikon on mine and love it! And so doea everybody that shoots it.

As far as your problem just start with cleaning and tightening everything up.

I just lock back the bolt, I don't even remove it from the gun. I move it forward when I got the barrel back on make sure the extractor fits in the groove and I fully tighten the bolts and make sure its GTG.

I found the Vblock can still be off a few degrees.
 
Good call on locking it back, ive allways removed mine since I usually change out my extractor when I swap barrels.
