CZ 527 7.62x39 WT buck 2014

Just a meat buck 4x3 with a big body shot him this am with a 123gr Hornady SP handload at 100 yards 25gr H4198 .......Fed LRM primer and Privi brass. Bullet took out a rib going in and exited between ribs on the off side.Deer did the 75 yard dash and crash .Impressed with the little gun and cartridge..weird grey nose on this buck?..........Harold

Right on!! Congrats... Work has totally screwed up my hunting season this year. Waiting for my 527, was supposed to be 4-6 weeks - going into week 7. Good on ya! The time to get out and got it blooded!!

Just have 4x Leupold and High Leupold rings.Groups went from just under 3/4" to one hole or 1/2" by just switching to magnum primers.A 6X compact would be ideal...played with some old Norma 130gr .311 and Sierra .311 150gr..All under an inch perhaps for black bear or moose?..Harold

Me too - lots of folks don't like them, but I don't see a downside to a good single set trigger.
