So. I traded for a SUB 2000 with a problem with the safety (This was all explained pre trade and both parties were happy with the deal) Anyhoo I needed a small spring and a pin that go on the cross bolt safety to keep it in the off position. So on a lark I thought I'll try the Canadian distributor (Vault) for Kel Tec before I ordered parts from the sunny south. Well Holy S&^t! I had a great talk with a guy named Gary The parts were here less than a week later and and I am one happy camper! Thanks Vault Thanks Gary!

Good to know about Vault. If Canada Post can be believed I have a Glock version Sub 2000 arriving tomorrow. I'm very keen to see it but I was a little disappointed to find out it's not allowed at my club's indoor range. One of the reasons I bought it right now was to shoot indoors during the winter. I know the longer barrel speeds up the 9mm round but from what I've read they are no hotter than .357 from a pistol and .357's are used at our indoor range. I haven't asked for an explanation of the "pistols and .22 rimfire rifles only" rule yet. Am I missing something obvious?

I have a Sub 2000 (Glock 9mm) that I did a chronograph test with Factory American Eagle 147 gr TC FMJ 10 shot average 1025 fps
My cast bullets 123gr RN, 3.3 grain Tite group with CCI small pistol primer 10 shot average 1115fps
My CZ 75 Shadowline 9mm using my home baked ammo 10 sot average 920 fps. Disclaimer I did these tests awhile back and the numbers are coming from what I can remember not my data book which I don't have with me at this very moment. That said I think that is right around the correct numbers.
Not a massive difference. All under 1200fps.
Maybe if you presented some of your own data to the club you could make a case for change? Just a thought
