6500$ is a pretty high mininum bid.

Welcome to GC Surplus. I have bought probably 20 cars from them and a small host of other items, but purchases are so few and far betwwen because 95% of the time the 'minimum bids' are out to lunch. Sometimes I think that they have internal people that want some of the stuff the seize, but they can't give it away unless they try to sell it first, and just price themselves out of the market.

Every once and a while though, something will pop back on as available, with about a 5% reduction in cost from the first time they placed it and priced it 30+% too high.

How is local pick up 2 provinces on either side? We have items sold in Alberta being purchased by people in Ontario and Nova Scotia regularly. One from Nova Scotia generally exports the material to the U.S. if you are willing to arrange shipping and meet the required regulations you can buy from any province or territory.

If it was a bit closer I'd be interested in going halfs with somebody on it. For good clean lead that price isn't bad, but the cost to transport it takes away some of the shine.
