It was said some time ago from CC/Korth that they were looking into a resolution for the customers who purchased when they first came out, only to have them drop significantly in price and offer a IOP program.

I'm just curious if anything actually came of that.

If anyone who was in that posistion could chime in that would be great.

I feel bad for the guys that bought early, but it's not like there wasn't 80% of the comments stating they were grossly overpriced when they came out. At the time folks buying them were quite happy with the price being they are the greatest battle rifle in the world. :)
They could at least throw those guys some green furniture, should cover the $500 extra they paid lol

Luckily the retailer took care of me and got cost for my purchase which they did not have to do. Korth/CC gave me a set of green furniture to go along with my black set.

I ended up coming out really good IMO probably a little bet better than the actual IOP

I'm just curious to what actually transpired for everyone else especially since there were indications from CC/Korth that something was in the works and coming shortly. That was quite awhile ago as well.

I want to know if they kept to their word or not.

An example

Korth is looking at what they can do for MIL/LEO that purchased before the program was released, but again, that is a question best directed to Korth for those that are eligible.

I also have emails and PM's with with a few others here that much more will be done for people who paid full pop and qualify IOP from Matt and Korth.

C8 - $2299.00 dropped to $1999 shortly after released. But that's retail. IOP is much lower. It's substantial price difference from the $2299 to the IOP price.

Is the discount for those that have to supply their own duty rifle?

No. IOP is open to any current Military or LE. To add to the substantial discount for CC rifles, Korth also includes Glock, POF and Hornady in the program. You must contact them and provide them with your ID and they will email you info on all the discounts.

IIRC the price for the C7A2 dropped $400 from the original price.

Consider this..

The price dropped $400 from the original price tag, then discount the IPO on top of it.....and Korth is STILL making money on the sale of these rifles....

So yeah, when everyone was saying that Korth was gouging us, there really was substance to that argument.

If you weren't blinded by CC /Korth fan boys propaganda it was plain as day these were a rip off. As usual Canadians pay more because they are simply all to willing to. CC and Korth can keep them, they've shown where their principals lie.

I guess so hey 2299 minus 400$, minus the iop rebate, minus korth cut and we are lokking at what a 1500$ rifle? That seem like what we should have paid... bahh it just makes my colt usa feel sweeter. Just as an exercise let remove colt profitd and the retailer profit that leave us with what ? A rifle with a cost of 600-800$? I know the last point is pointless but yeah i guess the guy's screaming gouging wen they came out were a bit right :p

Still a nice gun and a real collector peace.

Canadians don't usually (i haven't heard of it happening) have to buy their own gear. Most IOPs are just discounts for those that qualify, the reason for the purchase doesn't matter.
so what is the purpose of only offering the discount to those individuals if they are not to be used on duty for public safety?
