Real world value of the Marstar AK-74 dewat?...

if the 800 dollar pricing was consistant, it would be a nice little import business, i used to live in the czech republic and there are mountains of VZ58's for around 75 bucks deactivated, AKMs around 150-200 dollars.

although after seeing the annoying bull#### vendors have to put up with, whiney entitled ####s posting threads because their emails dont get answered within a day. I'd hate to deal with the special kind of person who's in the market for dewatt guns exclusively.
 
I don't get it... why would you pay $800 for deactivate firearm when you can vz-58 for 100$ more?!??!? :runaway:

The $800 dewat AK74 has been on the EE for weeks longer than the Marstar sale has been going on for, he likely hasn't noticed or cared to adjust the price accordingly.

Why not have both? I'm sure i'm not the only one who does. The AK74's are $399 plus tax/shipping right now, I wouldn't pay $800 for one.
 
Check out a firearms auction to see what these "worthless" items are selling for. $400+ for a piece of pipe Sten gun. $1400.00 for a dewat C1A1. Thousands more for battered up Maxims. There is a market for them and although some might think paperweights and scrap, others see a no license required collectable. I have not seen any AK or variant of them listed yet so it would appear that those who have them intend to keep them.
 
And the reason the ak's are so cheap is because you are buying a bunch of stuff with it, they are just clearing out inventory. They are also not 399, you have to buy another rifle with that and shipping so your paying close to 650 for it. I just bought into this deal because I would love to have an AK on the wall in the man cave. Who cares it's a couple bucks. Worth it in my books. P,us I've already got my VZ and SKS's, can't hurt to get some more

They are $399 (plus tax/shipping) if you buy another cheap Soviet rifle, I chose SKS. I then sold that SKS the same day I listed it on the EE for what I paid for it and i'm sure anybody else could do the same. My total investment is around $450 so $399 plus tax/shipping. Looks great on the wall.
