AR-15 M4 recommendations

:cool:
Yeah just ordered my Norinco. Not sure how deep I'm going to dive in, so as long as it gets me started and gets the job done, think I'll be happy. And with the extra $700 saved, can buy some ammo. I for one think $700 is a big difference, and not just a little more. I'm all for quality, but like I said, I can't throw around money. Will update this in a few months with my feelings then haha

Congrats, first hit of the black rifle crack..... its all over for you now so just roll with it.

You''ll eventually fall deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole and end up with so many parts, pieces and accessories you can open up a tactical supply store, but my advice, fight the urge to strap on every accessory you can find until youve invested in a higher end rifle. Absolutely nothing wrong with the Norc, but you will end up with better rifle down the road.
As long as you dont hang 400$ worth of rails, buis and magpul.... off it and expect to sell it for 900 bucks
you should be able to get most of your money back out of it.

Save the coolaid for your "keeper" and learn to shoot the rifle as is....

Just MHO...enjoy

Haha that's the idea. Don't want to sink too much into this guy. Maybe grips.
Was close to buying the colt, but couldn't justify starting there.

Might as well tack this on here;
Is there any value in getting the Caldwell Mag Charger since we only have 5 round mags? Thinking it would save the thumbs at the very least, especially during winter

5 round mags? Haven't used those in over 3 years.

Time for you to invest in some ATRS CAA, PCV or LAR 10 and 15 shot mags

AR mags are very easy to load. I don't know why they even invented such a device. Pistol mags: different story.

So anyone know how long it takes to get my registration in the mail? Would've figured it would be around the same time as the rifle, but almost a week later and nothing. Would like to take this thing to the range.
