the 8.5 magfed griz....

do they REALLY feed properly?

i have a bolt action 12 gauge that sucks at feeding, and as a result im very weary of anything other than pump or break

Had a friend by a Grizzly when they first came out... it was terrible. I'm sure the issues have been fixed by now. The SAP6 seems to be the new one on the block and most of the reviews are good. I hear a larger capacity mag is coming too.

SAP6 Reliability Test
We took a random SAP6 out of the box, dropped some CLP in the action and loaded up 17, 6 round mags for a total of 102 rounds for this assessment. In testing the SAP6 has shown to be 100% reliable. Video is uncut

Man, those guys look like they were taking a bit of a pounding. Even cycling the action looked tiring near the end. If you can put faith in a sample testing of (1 unit) then you could say it looks like a winner.

I will never buy another mag fed shotgun.
Tube fed shotguns have been around for many many years.
If it was a design worth putting effort and easily done it would have already been done.

I can atest to the SAP-6 being good. Honestly wouldn't buy a griz when the Better quality of the sap-6 is very little cost above the griz...

It's double the price of a Grizzly. More than likely a better buy than the Black Aces Tactical Fiasco.

For what its worth my magfed has been 100% reliable after I did alot of work too it

There's an old italian design that may be better but harder to find. Valtro I believe.

I find it to be ammo sensitive. Some brands or loads hang up, others work fine.

Yes Valtro(Its Rumored to be made by Benelli), Very smooth and functions flawless. Just getting hard to find, they get snapped up quick in the EE.
