Wow, I believe in am over 4000 rounds now no problems, great gun. On a recent trip to Florida I got to try some other pistols m and p 9, fnx 40, sti 1911, and another 1911. I guess I am so used to the 92, well it is all I will shoot for a now.

don't let these guys get to you- the m9/92/96 berettas are good, reliable guns and will feed almost anything- some of the others won't- personally I shoot 130 grain lead in mine, but that's just me- I don't mind cleaning leaded barrels- that mechanism actually started with the beretta 51- just like a helwan- but i'd be keeping a watch on my LOCKING BLOCK and "d" spring at this point in time- it's getting near of end of life

Wait till you try a...Glock!!????? don t they melt in the hot sun ha ha I know they are a great pistol, but if it s not broke....... you know

Wait till you try a...Glock!! Bwaahahahahaha!!

if you like holding a brick.

Actually, having owned more than one Beretta 92 series & also Glocks, personally I'd say it's the Beretta that holds like a brick.

But to the OP, you are correct "if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. If you like the Beretta & it works for you, stick with it.

Different type of brick I guess.
Beretta 92 would feel like a brick because the grip is bigger.
Glock is like a brick because it is so squared and awkward grip angle.

I'd still have my m9s if it werent for that silly slide mounted safety. Terrible design, IMO.

yup, I agree. Still next to glock I find the 92fs really reliable and will feed anything. I have owned several but keep going back to Glock just cause it fits me better.
